What’s in my Doctor bag?
I have few essentials. A stethoscope. An IPad to document using the hospital’s secure system. A notebook to jot things down. An assortment of pens, stylus pens. Keys. Cellphone to communicate. A hospital badge, for entry and identification, of course.
Anesthesiologists are consultants. Care is delivered on site, in operating room suites of hospitals or surgery centers. Everything else, needed for us to deliver an anesthetic, is provided by the hospital.
What do you carry in your bag?
